Hi at all,
Some mounth ago I have bought this salamanders in England as alfredschmidti from Tendi valley subspecie.
When I have bought they there was another pair sold but was totally brown ( as the most of alfredschmidti)

I want to be sure that they are alfredschmidti because I would like to mixing they with another alfredschmidti group...

What do you think???

Hello Patrick,

if they are really from the Tendi Valley they can be only S.s.a. . Alfredschmidti must not be brown. they can be also yellow like yours salamanders.

Hello Patrick,

I would consider them as alfredschmidti, too. The colors of the animals are very different and vary over a wide spectrum, there are more brownish or real brown animals as well as those with a single black stripe over the vertebrae or totally yellow salamanders - examples you can see HERE
